A Re-Imagining of
“The Greatest Story Ever Told”
A Podcast Musical in 16 Episodes
Music by Peter Link
Book and Lyrics by Peter Link and Ragan Courtney
In the backroads of Skedee, Oklahoma, a young woman's faith and love are put to the ultimate test when a divine plan unfolds, blending the heart of bluegrass with the soul of Broadway in a 16-episode podcast musical that reimagines "The Greatest Story Ever Told."

"Rosemary And Thyme" is a 16-episode podcast musical that centers on Thyme Quinn, a devout young woman in the small town of Skedee, Oklahoma. Thyme is deeply in love with the local preacher, Reverend Josiah Washburn, and longs for him to propose. Her quiet life is thrown into turmoil by a miraculous, divine intervention that will forever change her and the town. With a rich narrative and a score that travels from the twang of bluegrass to the grandeur of Broadway, this "Theater of The Imagination" brings a timeless story into the contemporary world, exploring themes of faith, love, community, and the surprising ways miracles can manifest.
Peter Link has spent 50 years writing, composing, and producing musical theatrical works for Broadway, Off-Broadway and around the world. You can learn more about him on his wikipedia page: Peter Link - Wikipedia

The Main Characters in Order of Appearance

This is a PG 13 (not R) family-oriented project. Like most classic stories, many of its themes resonate with our world today. It strikes the note of the necessity to improve the quality of our world leadership. It deals with immigration and the plight of immigrants. It also deals with the emancipation of the poor and the recognition that all people are created equal. It also takes a hard look at good ol’ American values. It reminds us of the incredible beauty of the great Southwest.
It supports the awareness of the core values of family, and that family does not necessarily mean people of the same skin. It speaks to people of all ages. It reimagines a classic story known by billions and brings the fundamental values, morals and ethics once again to the forefront without being “religious“. It’s just a great story. It makes you laugh, and it makes you cry.
We would like to find investors who will help us take Rosemary and Thyme to the next level – to produce it – whether in current podcast mode, or re-fashioning it into a visual series. It is time to take this to a larger audience who will love embracing this story on many levels.
