Hey, I'm Michael!

Vibo was founded over a decade ago from firsthand experience DJing at weddings and corporate events.

I originally built and used it for my own events, long before it became a product for other DJs. I trained as an audio engineer, graduating with honors, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Film, and worked as a DJ and audio engineer at hundreds of weddings and events.

Earlier in my career, I served as a naval ship commander, where I graduated with honors and received multiple officer commendations for leadership and responsibility under pressure. That experience shaped how I think about preparation, systems, and decision-making in fast-moving environments.

Today, I bring those worlds together through Vibo—a DJ planning app that stays aligned with modern technology and evolving client expectations, plays seamlessly with the tools DJs already use, including major music platforms and DJ software, and is built by a stable, full-time engineering team of experienced developers.

We focus on thoughtful planning, testing, and clean code, prioritizing long-term reliability and quality over shortcuts.

How is Vibo different from other DJ planning tools?

Unlike other tools, Vibo is the only product that is mobile-first, designed by and only for wedding and event DJs like you. We are not trying to be everything for everyone. We are not a CRM, and we are not trying to be one.
This focus allows us to provide you with the highest-quality app to enhance your planning experience. Our philosophy is that the planning experience holds the key to the success of every event. A better planning experience results in more sales, more time saved, better reviews, and happier clients.

Can I customize Vibo to my own needs?

Absolutely! You can customize your own templates to match the exact way you want to work with your clients. This includes your own questions, settings, branding and song ideas.

Is Vibo a CRM?

Our focus at Vibo is being the best tool for planning events. Some features may feel similar to a CRM, though Vibo itself it's not a CRM. Most of our customers, choose to use both so they complement each other.

With what tools does Vibo integrates?

Vibo works seamlessly with the tools DJs already use every day, including:

- Streaming: Spotify (with real-time sync), Apple Music and Beatsource.
- If you use Tidal or another streaming service, we recommend using Spotify or Apple Music and then convert the playlist using Soundiiz or TuneMyMusic, (at the moment, Tidal doesn’t have an official API).
- Zapier.
- DJEP, Honeybook or any other CRM (via Zapier).
- Serato, Virtual DJ, DJay Pro, Rekordbox or any other DJ Software that can handle M3U playlists.

Do my clients need to create an account or download an app?

Yes, a quick sign-up is needed so your clients can securely access their event and collaborate with you. Your clients can join and use the app for free, they just need to sign up and get started with email, Apple of Google Log In.

Some of the benefits of having your clients download your app are:

- You can skip their inbox and long email lists, and send them push notifications and reminders directly to their phones.
- Ease of use, whenever they think of a song they can open the app (rather than login on the web).
- Smoother client experience.

If they want to plan on a computer, they can access their event on the web

Can I add extra team members to my account?.

Yes! It’s a great way to leverage your time as a Multi-Op owner by empowering your DJs with tools that help them throughout the planning process.

At Vibo we have the experience of working with hundreds of Multi-ops, and some of the results you can expect are:

- Better retention with your DJ team.
- Sales improve with a clear, professional process, as clients appreciate a defined workflow.
- DJs would be better prepared for events, resulting in better reviews and client satisfaction.

Adding team members has an extra cost ($20 monthly or $200 yearly per DJ, depending on your plan).

What if I need help? How does support work?

Yes! We love to connect with the Vibo DJ family. We want you to succeed, as your success is our success.
The best way to reach out is via our support chat through the in-app chat or the website. You’ll be answered as soon as possible by an AI agent or our team during working hours. In addition, you can always book a 1:1 Zoom meeting (free of charge) with one of our DJ team member or support upon request.
Furthermore, we have weekly Meetups in a group setting, to help you improve your Vibo level, every Monday at 1pm EST. All calls are recorded and saved in the Vibo Academy, where you can rewatch them and learn best practices.

What happens if I cancel my plan?

When paused, your account will switch to read-only mode. Clients can still view events, answer questions, and add songs, but you won’t be able to edit existing events, create new events, assign/unassign DJs, or download PDFs.

Do you offer a lower-priced tier?

We keep things simple with one subscription that includes everything you need to deliver a professional experience. You can choose between a monthly or yearly plan, depending on what works best for you.
