Time to take the Land

Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 long years. They knew that God had delivered them out

of Egypt, yet they lingered in fear in the desert when it came to rising in Faith to cross over the

Jordan river into the Promised Land of their inheritance.

Moses died, but not before commissioning Joshua as leader of the people. Joshua, the leader

of Israel and her army, was ready to take God at his word and trust his leading for Israel to

realize their destiny. We know the rest of the story. Joshua did lead Israel to take possession of

their inheritance in the new world.

Today, we are living in a similar place as Israel did. Our families and the education of our

children have suffered for far too many years. It’s time we stand and move out to see our

children and grandchildren learn to read, get a solid education, and have confidence to step into

the opportunities of their awaiting future.

Pray for single mothers, broken families, and discouraged teachers to move beyond fear, and

find courage for this new day. Pray also for the leadership of the Black Youth Success

Movement and the Village Ambassadors who will be mentoring the children.

Blessings!
