When asked this question, Dr. Rick C. Ernst said: There have been many big challenges in my life. However, I would have to say that overcoming severe dyslexia has been my biggest life challenge.
When I was in the second grade, I was diagnosed with a very severe case of dyslexia, which is a learning and reading disability.
In those days, reading and spelling were very difficult for me since that time; I have studied very hard and, with the help of specially trained reading teachers, have overcome my reading problem for the most part. However, to this day, I still have difficulty with some things.
But I make it a priority to never look at what I do not have, only what I do have. As I frequently say, It’s not the ability you have that makes you successful; it’s how you see and use your ability that determines your success!
He eats fruit in the morning, starches in the afternoon, and protein and greens for his main meal of the day, which he generally eats around 5:00 or 6:00 pm.
He likes to keep his eating contained within a five to six-hour period, which for him is typically between noon and 6:00 pm. This way, each day, his body undergoes intermittent fasting.
Dr. Rick C. Ernst has said that the benefits of intermittent fasting are it improves insulin resistance, which is helpful in muscle gain, anti-aging, and the prevention of diseases like type 2 diabetes, and it’s also very good for weight loss.
In addition, he said that Intermittent fasting also helps cleanse the body of toxins, increasing immune productivity, longevity, and overall health.
