Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: March 2026
Booking Confirmation
All bookings with Wows and Vows are considered confirmed once a signed agreement and required deposit have been received.
The deposit secures your event date and covers preparation time, planning, and scheduling.
Deposit Policy
Deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve your event date and prevent other bookings from being accepted on that date.
Client Cancellation
If a client chooses to cancel services:
* Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund of payments made beyond the deposit.
* Cancellations made within 60 days of the event are generally non-refundable due to reserved scheduling and preparation already completed.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your ceremony date, Wows and Vows will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the new date based on availability.
Rescheduling requests should be submitted as early as possible.
Vendor Cancellation
In the rare event that Wows and Vows must cancel due to emergency, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, we will:
* Attempt to provide a qualified replacement officiant if possible, or
* Issue a full refund of payments received.
Force Majeure
Wows and Vows is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Agreement Supremacy
If a signed service agreement exists between Wows and Vows and the client, the terms in that agreement will take precedence over this general policy.
Updates to This Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
The updated version will always be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
