Active shooter training increases a desired effect in times of stress. The military and law enforcement understand the importance of training.

Active Shooter Plans

An Active Shooter is defined by the FBI as “an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a populated area”. The United States has seen a constant incline in active shooter situations in malls, stores, places of worship, and schools alike. Our active shooter plans and training will help your organization understand the best ways to survive these terrible tragedies. CSS has been on the fore front of Active Shooter response since 2009 and the Fort Hood shooting by MAJ Nidal Hasan. Receiving the Department of Homeland Security Active Shooter Response Instructor certification, CSS has led to thousands of Military Police trained on non-traditional response methods. If you or your organization are concerned about Active Shooter threats, then please contact Critical Security Solutions for your unique, individualized plans and training.

RUN, HIDE, FIGHT!!! Effective training increases a desired effect in times of stress. The military and law enforcement understand the importance of training and repetition better than anyone. In times of high stress, people revert to training as fine motor skills and decision making are difficult. Run, Hide, Fight is an extremely simple model, proven to be easy to remember in the heat of any situation. Our training will ensure that employees are prepared the best for the worst.

Our Active Shooter plans and training are the product of our easy three step model:

Step 1

Critical Security Solutions active shooter experts will come to your organization to initialize planning. We will conduct a thorough physical security assessment to evaluate the current security protocols in place.

Step 2

CSS will meet with local law enforcement or response entities to determine the response time, and active shooter response method (single officer, 2-man, 3-man) authorized by their department. CSS will then develop a plan and training slides for the organization.

Step 3

CSS will present the plan and security concerns to the organization’s leadership or representatives. We will then present a training package to the desired audience (teachers, security, employees) based on the Run, Hide, Fight Model. This training will encompass best practices and nuances learned through years of research, training, and experiments.
