HOW IT WORKS

The Cleaning Process

1 THE INSPECTION

The day after your garbage is collected, keep your garbage cans out near the street or on your driveway. Don’t worry, we’ll send you a reminder, so you don’t forget!

When we arrive, our Can Washers team member begins work by inspecting the cans. We check for any solid debris or trash left in the cans after collection or any major damage that may cause problems during our cleaning cycle.

2 THE WASH CYCLE

Once the inspection is over, we take your garbage cans to the back of our state-of-the-art curbside cleaning vehicle. Two garbage cans may be cleaned at once with our system. The hydraulic arms will lift your garbage cans into position over our custom pressure washers.

The heads on the pressure washing machine rotate at very high speeds, spraying 200 degree water in all directions getting rid of any debris from inside the containers.

Our pressure washing system can remove more than 99% of bacteria, viruses, and other substances inside your garbage cans, leaving them clean and freshly deodorized.

Once the cleaning is done, the hydraulic system returns your garbage cans to the ground. Your Can Washers technician then sprays the interior of the garbage cans with an organic lavender deodorizer
before returning them to your property.

3 CONFIRMATION OF SERVICE

Our technician will place a sticker on the front of your can if you’re a recurring service customer (monthly or quarterly). When the entire cleaning process is complete, we send you a text message to let you know we’ve finished.

Why Your Garbage Can Needs

Cleaning?

Let’s face it: Garbage cans are smelly. Even if your garbage is bagged correctly, remnants of food

and fluids from the bags can seep out into your garbage cans.

This creates ideal conditions for bacteria, viruses, molds, and fungi to grow and flourish. Many of these can cause severe

infections such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria. Mold and fungi release spores that may be dangerous as well.

Frequent cleaning of your garbage cans are necessary to reduce the risk of infection and illness. Plus, the smell is just simply unpleasant!

Our cleaning system will

sanitize your garbage cans, killing 99%

of all known bacteria, viruses, molds, and fungi, keeping you and your family safe.
