Empowering Black Entrepuers through Networking and Increasing Access to High Capital Markets

ALTÉRer Consulting has partnered with the Metro NY Chapter of the National Black MBA Association to create a series of impactful initiatives to support black and brown entrepreneurs in their business endeavors. The project is focused on fostering connections, knowledge-sharing, and empowerment within the community through a combination of networking mixers, workshops, conferences, and educational events. The primary goal is to equip black entrepreneurs with the resources, information, and networks they need to accelerate their businesses while encouraging corporate partners to invest in communities of color.

Project Outcomes:

• Networking Mixers and Workshops: Organized multiple networking mixers and workshops, providing a platform for black entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. Facilitated an environment conducive to relationship-building and mutual support.

• Educational Conferences: Hosted impactful conferences to address critical topics in the business world. The "Future of Business: Advancing ESG Practices for a More Sustainable Future" conference focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, driving awareness and action for sustainable business growth.

• Business Acceleration Workshops: Conducted workshops addressing key aspects of entrepreneurship. "From Passion to Profit: Transitioning from a W2 to a W9" empowered individuals to leap into entrepreneurship, providing practical insights for the journey.

• Exploring High Capital Markets: Led an enlightening workshop, "The Business of Cannabis," exploring different paths to engage in the high capital market field of cannabis. Offered a comprehensive view of the industry and opportunities for black entrepreneurs.

• Global Expansion Focus: Organized the Entrepreneurship Accelerator Summit, concentrating on "Entrepreneurship International Growth and Expansion." Empowered entrepreneurs to explore international markets and expansion strategies for enhanced growth.
