Meet Todd

As far back as I can remember, I recall being a dreamer. As a teenager, I found myself watching infomercials with Tony Robbins. It was the late 80"s and I'll never forget Guthy-Renker companies, a well-known direct marketing firm who promoted these in the wee hours of the morning. I listed over and over, fascinated with human behavior and all the things Tony would talk about. I was 17 years old when my Mom, Penny, took me the first time to see Tony Robbins in Universal City CA. I sat midway back, center of the room and as I watched Tony on stage, I looked up and saw all the fancy chandeliers, the mass of people, all the positive energy and thought, one day I could see myself doing something like this.

With my Mom being a Realtor and real estate appraiser, I got my “unofficial” start in real estate when I was 8 years old. Helping out in the home office and doing field inspections, I can remember driving comps, helping measure houses and taking pictures of properties. My first official sale came when I was 20 years old, when a family friend bought a property valued at $1.2 million dollars. Being young and naive, I never looked back. That was in 1991. I quickly realized that selling real estate was lucrative and even simple, yet not easy. We know success leaves clues and I began my journey of learning from others who had a track record of success.
I found a way to get around successful people and absorbed all I could. I called it "getting around the heat."

After 30+ years of selling real estate at a high level and coaching with nationally recognized organizations and companies, and logging 4,500 one to one coaching calls with agents across the country, I am perfectly positioned to share my knowledge to help others move forward in the pursuit of their goals. Everything from being a solo agent, building a team, holding leadership positions, coaching individuals and speaking to small and large groups of people.

I've been fortunate to have some great coaches, mentors and friends along the way who have taught me so much. If there's one thing I credit to any success I've had, it's my willingness to be a student of the fundamentals. Being coachable, your willingness to be accountable and step out of your comfort zone is the only way to truly experience personal and professional growth. Why? Because it causes us to be uncomfortable. This is why we must accept the challenge, because growth only occurs outside of our comfort zone.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, 3 dogs and African Grey Parrot. I like to hang out at Walt Disney World, too. Our family is passionate about helping others and we are volunteer puppy raisers for Canine Companions, a non-profit that places service dogs with people that are living with disabilities.
