The Sugary Stop is a youth-led social enterprise created through WDC’s Youth Development Program.
The Sugary Stop was founded by youth participants as part of a hands-on entrepreneurship experience.
Every dollar earned supports youth entrepreneurship, program activities, and continued learning opportunities.
WDC provides programs focused on economic development, youth development, and holistic health.
You can get involved by joining a program, attending events, or signing up to volunteer.
Sugary Stop is more than a seasonal drink stand - it's a youth-driven social enterprise launched by four inspiring teens from the Wezesha Dada Center's Youth Development Program. Aged 11 to 19, these young leaders turned their entrepreneurship training into action, transforming a classroom idea into a real business with meaningful impact in their community.
Empowering youth through real-world entrepreneurship, leadership development, and exposure to professional environments.
Providing girls and underrepresented youth with tools to build confidence, gain experience, and dream bigger.
Operating as a youth-led LLC, Sugary Stop is a living example of what's possible when young people are trusted to lead.
