Your healing is important to us, and we do our best to create a safe, supportive space for every session.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for services rendered. However, if you’re not satisfied with your experience, please reach out within 24 hours. We’ll work with you to address your concerns—whether that’s rescheduling, adjusting your care plan, or offering other supportive options.

Prepaid Sessions & Gift Certificates

All prepaid sessions and gift certificates are non-refundable, but fully transferable. You’re welcome to gift a session to someone else if you can’t use it. Please note: prepaid packages must be used within 12 months of purchase.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged (e.g., prepaid sessions, packages or deposits). We accept credit cards, cash, and gift certificates.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

Your time and mine are valuable, and keeping consistent appointments helps support your healing progress.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling within 24 hours is forgiven once as a courtesy. Subsequent late reschedules will incur a $25 rescheduling fee, which must be paid prior to booking future appointments.

Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your session.

●Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the session cost.

●No-call/no-shows will be charged 100% of the session fee.

●Clients with saved payment methods will be automatically charged.

●Future bookings after a no-show will require a prepaid deposit or reservation fee.

●Emergencies are absolutely understood and handled with compassion—please just reach out.

Illness Policy

If you are ill or feel like you may be coming down with something, please reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. If you arrive showing visible signs of illness (fever, coughing, fatigue, etc.), I will kindly reschedule your session at intake and encourage you to rest and recover.

This is for your safety, my safety, and the well-being of every client I serve.

Minors Policy

Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian through the entire session and must have written consent for service.

Hygiene Policy
At Balanced Current Bodywork, we maintain high standards of hygiene to ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for every client and every session.

Client Hygiene Expectations

To support the comfort and safety of both the client and therapist, we kindly ask that all clients:

●Arrive to appointments clean and freshly bathed (If possible), with attention to personal hygiene.

●Wear clean, loose fitting clothing and avoid heavy perfumes or colognes, as some clients and practitioners are sensitive to scents.

●Refrain from attending appointments when experiencing excessive perspiration(medical conditions are taken into account), body odor, or skin conditions that could impact the safety of the session.

Therapist Hygiene & Cleanliness

You can expect that your therapist will always:

●Begin each session freshly cleaned, wearing professional, laundered attire.

●Wash and sanitize hands thoroughly before and after every client.

●Disinfect all surfaces, linens, and tools between sessions to maintain a sanitary treatment space.

Open Communication

If there’s ever a concern regarding hygiene—on either side—it will be addressed with professionalism and respect. Our goal is to ensure a positive experience that supports healing and comfort for everyone involved.

Inappropriate Conduct & Solicitation Policy

Balanced Current Bodywork is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both clients and therapist.

Professional Conduct

All services are strictly therapeutic. Any sexual or inappropriate behavior—including suggestive comments, gestures, or non-therapeutic contact—will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

Zero Tolerance
At Balanced Current Bodywork, we maintain high standards of hygiene to ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for every client and every session.

Client Hygiene Expectations

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. Violations may lead to being permanently banned from receiving services and may result in reporting to authorities when necessary.
