ChatGPT is using your Information!
Privacy in OpenAI ChatGPT
ChatGPT uses user inputs, including conversations and data uploads, to train and improve its models, meaning personal or sensitive information shared could potentially reappear in future responses. OpenAI clarifies that while they may use content to improve performance, they do not sell or share user data with third-party brokers.
I am going to show you how to turn it off in the settings in your ChatGPT account. You can follow along in the video or through step-by-step instructions.

To turn “Improve the model for everyone” off in ChatGPT, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Open ChatGPT settings
Open ChatGPT.
Click your profile icon or name in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Select Settings.
2️⃣ Go to Data Controls
In the Settings menu, click Data Controls.
3️⃣ Turn the setting off
Find the toggle labeled “Improve the model for everyone.”
Switch the toggle off.
4️⃣ What this does
Your conversations won’t be used to train or improve the model.
Your chats will still be stored in your history unless you turn Chat History & Training off separately.
✅ That’s it, changes apply immediately.
💡 Pro Tip: If you want maximum privacy, you can also:
Turn off Chat History & Training
Or use Temporary Chat (no history, not used for training).
