Our Beliefs

The doctrinal foundation that guides Primus University of Theology.

Core Doctrine

What We Believe

Primus University of Theology is built on the foundation of biblical truth, sound doctrine, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Our educational mission flows directly from our theological convictions.

The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme guide for all matters of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and worthy of our full worship and devotion.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. John 14:6
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, and that the Spirit-filled life includes the gifts of the Spirit as described in Scripture. 1 Corinthians 12
Salvation
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential — that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone, by grace alone. Ephesians 2:8-9
Revelation Education
We believe that the Holy Spirit teaches believers all things, and that revelation from God through prayer and study is a valid and credentialed form of theological education, just as it was for the Apostles. 1 John 2:27
