Long road to recovery

Today felt like a big step in my recovery journey. This week there has been many ups and downs. From not being able to have lunch with my Dad with an anxiety attack to shaking like a leaf in currys trying to get my computer fixed.

But today I had a breakthrough, waking up feeling those same feelings of dread I made a decision that anxiety doesn’t win. For so long I’ve been scared to workout because I felt like I’m going to collapse. My heart would beat out my chest, my breath would get stuck, my legs would turn to jelly and I’d feel like I was going to collapse with dizziness. It was time to lean into that fear, to show it who was in charge. Those feelings and sensations were going to be there anyway so fuck em!

I went 10 rounds pushing through the tears! Let’s go!!!!
