The community have planted dozens and dozens of trees near the lake making them aware of this great environmental practice.

Our Approach to Making a Difference

1. We will bring the leaders of the 13 communes of Bujumbura to the City Centre (Burundi)

2. We will describe the nature of this crisis, identify the key drivers, and identify the local impacts.

3. We will ask the meetings to choose community spokespersons, who will then collaborate at a central meeting.
