I'm the founder of Better Steps Foundation and CEO of Better Steps Life Skills Center. Every day, I have the privilege of leading programs that empower individuals with special needs to gain independence, build confidence, and step boldly into their futures.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare and leadership, I’ve dedicated my career to creating opportunities for youth and adults with diverse abilities — from life skills and employment readiness to personal development and community connection.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Miami Dade College, building deeper expertise to better serve the individuals and families I support. My work includes developing sustainable programs, training passionate teams, and fostering partnerships that strengthen long-term impact across our communities.
My vision has always been clear: to remove barriers and replace them with pathways to success.
Founded and scaled Better Steps Life Skills Center, proudly serving 500+ clients since 2014 through vocational training, job placement, and supportive services.
Built and led a team of 7 direct service providers and contractors, expanding program capacity by 65% over the last three years.
Designed and launched career camps for teens (ages 14–21) with IEP/504 plans — supporting 200+ youth as they prepare for employment.
Secured and successfully maintained a Medicaid contract with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), increasing access to supportive living, companion care, and personal assistance services.
Organized community events connecting 300+ families to local resources in a single year.
These milestones reflect the collective effort of a dedicated team and a community that believes in advocacy, dignity, and equitable opportunity.
I am driven by the belief that every individual deserves the chance to live a vibrant, independent life.
As I look ahead, I am focused on:
Expanding innovative vocational and life skills programs
Creating entrepreneurial pipelines for individuals with disabilities
Scaling Better Steps as a statewide — and ultimately national — model of inclusive care and empowerment
Developing supportive living facilities that offer long-term stability and growth

What motivates me most is witnessing transformation — watching someone discover their strengths, secure their first job, or confidently navigate daily life on their own terms. That growth, that joy… that is what keeps me committed to this mission.
I aim to leave a legacy rooted in empowerment, service, and opportunity — not only for the individuals I serve today, but for generations to come.
