Who we are:

Modoma is a growing medical clinic that was established in 2014. We currently have clinics open in Coppell, Plano, Frisco and Dallas. Our focus is physical medicine and rehab in a massage environment.

The Position:

We have an opening for a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in a Physical Medicine Rehabilitation environment. The successful candidates will work in collaboration with patients, and staff to provide first-rate healthcare services under the direction and responsibility of the Physician.

The Duties:

  • History and Physical Examination: Conduct patient interviews and perform appropriate physical exams to establish the provider/patient relationship and develop the patient's plan of care.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results. Provide education to patients regarding results.

  • Diagnose and make decisions about management and treatment of the patient's care.

  • Prescribe therapy and/or medication per physician's algorithms

  • Documentation: Provide accurate and thorough documentation of the entire office visit in a timely fashion. Note completion expected within 48 hours of office visit.

  • Perform therapeutic procedures-such as medication injections, and trigger point injections.

  • Supervise and coordinate appropriate duties of non-licensed clinical staff.

  • Participate in clinical education opportunities

  • Maintain licensing and prescribing duties by ensuring renewals and required continued education is completed.

  • Practice in a safe and compliant manner, in accordance with practice policies & protocols as well as state/national regulatory licensing guidelines.

The Candidate:

  • We're looking for a dynamic individual that is proficient in exercising autonomy in medical decision making and providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be comfortable working as a team member. Together we provide the best patient care in accordance with the clinic's clinical policies and procedures and instructions from the physician supervisor

  • Proficient in the use of a computer, software packages, EMR/EHR and office machines.

  • Experience performing trigger point injections is a plus.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm; No

  • Master's Degree in related field & experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Impeccable presentation skills as a way of enhancing the success of the organization

  • Interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills

  • A profound understanding of medicine

  • Ability to influence change to achieve desired patient outcome

License and / or Certification:

  • Current licensure as a PA or NP to practice in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board. Preferred: Current DEA, DPS certification

  • Current CPR Certification required

  • Valid Texas Driver's License

  • Must be able to meet and maintain current Modoma credentialing and privileging requirements.

Special Requirements:

Must be willing to travel between Modoma medical clinics.
