STILL have QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know the Knee Relief Program will work for me?

Our Knee Program is designed based on an integrated healthcare model tailored to your needs and goals, which could include a combination of treatments. All treatments are evidence-based and follow Medicare standards. Before starting, our medical team will conduct an orthopedic exam and, if needed, a video fluoroscopy to determine if the program is a good fit for you. And if that looks good, there should be a high likelihood of success.

How long does the relief from the program last?

This is difficult to determine. The goal of the program would be to have significant reduction in pain and increase mobility in the knee for a minimum of 6 month. It's not uncommon for relief to be much longer than that, and in some cases resolve the issue entirely.

How soon can I expect to see results from the Knee Relief Program?

While every situation is different, Some patients have seen improvement after the initial injection. But the speed of your recovery depends on various factors, such as the severity of your knee pain, your adherence to the care plan, and your overall health. That being said, our medical team can go over that with you in more detail during your initial visit.

What if I’m scared of having injections?

If you're nervous about the needle used for knee injections, don't worry—there are ways to make the experience more comfortable. Here are a few options that could be used. It will depend on the provider what is available. But these are some options so you can let the patient know we can help with that.

Numbing cream: A topical anesthetic cream can be applied to the skin around your knee before the injection. This cream helps numb the area, making the needle prick less painful.

Cold spray: Another option is to use a cold spray on the skin where the needle will be inserted. The cold temperature temporarily numbs the surface, reducing the pain you might feel from the needle.

Local anesthetic: In some cases, the provider may inject a small amount of local anesthetic into the skin and tissue around the knee before administering the main injection. This anesthetic helps numb the area more deeply, further minimizing discomfort.

Their provider can go over the specific options at the time of the service.

What if I have other health issues in addition to knee pain? Can the program still help me?

Our medical team will take into account your overall health and any pre-existing conditions when creating your care plan. If necessary, they may coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure you receive comprehensive care that addresses your knee pain as well as any other health concerns.

What is the time commitment?

We value your time and aim to help you improve as efficiently as possible. Typically, the program involves one visit per week during your care. We create an at-home rehab program to minimize in-person visits, allowing you to work on your recovery at home. Our team will discuss the time commitment during your initial visit and make adjustments as needed.

What will the cost of the program?

I understand that cost can be a concern. The cost of the program varies depending on your specific needs and treatments. But before you start any care plan, we'll provide a breakdown of the patient's responsibility; it’s part of our “Transparency Pricing Policy.” And we work with most commercial insurance providers, even Medicare, and offer payment options also if needed.

Do you accept health insurance?

Yes we do. We are in network with most major networks, including Medicare. No referral are needed expect for HMO plans

What happens at the initial visit?

During your initial visit, your provider will perform a physical exam and an orthopedic knee examination. If necessary, they might also use video fluoroscopy, an imaging technique that helps us better understand the structure and function of your knee. Based on these assessments, they will create a custom care plan for you specifically. And if possible, perform your initial injection.

I've been told I have bone on bone, will this help?

We actually hear this a lot. It's important to go through the Discovery/Initial visit and get the required imaging done to see if our program is a good fit for you, but we help people all the time that have been told that.
