3 Playgrounds Near Nundah, Albion & Windsor Where You Can Train While Your Kids Play

You don’t need a 90-minute window.

You need a playground… and 15 - 20 minutes.

Here are three great spots on Brisbane’s northside where your kids can burn energy while you sneak in a quick workout.


1️⃣ Kalinga Park – Clayfield (5 mins from Nundah)

Quick Parent Workout (15 mins):

4 - 5 Rounds:

20 Alternating Bench Step-ups

10 Push-ups

20 Walking Lunges

20sec Plank

You can see the playground from most spots, so supervision is easy.


2️⃣ Perry Park – Close to Albion

Why it’s great:
Big oval, playground, and plenty of space to move without being in the way.

Quick Parent Workout:

4 Rounds (while kids explore)

200m Brisk Walk or Jog around the oval

15 Air Squats

10 Incline Push-ups on a bench

20 Mountain Climbers

If they’re old enough, get them to race you across the grass.

5 Rounds:

20 Walking Lunges

10 Tricep Dips on a bench

20sec Wall Sit (against shelter posts)

10 Burpees

You’ll be puffing… and your kids will still be climbing.

Your kids don’t need to see you in a gym every day.
