A youth hockey development program based in British Columbia’s Okanagan region.
We provide a structured, competitive, and supportive environment where young athletes
elevate their game and grow as leaders on and off the ice.
Who We Are
Okanagan Thunder Spring Hockey Club is a youth hockey development program in the Okanagan Region of British Columbia. We deliver focused instruction, competitive opportunities, and a positive team culture designed to build skill, confidence, and character.
How It Started
Built by parents for players. After a few athletes didn’t make a spring team, two local parents created an opportunity so kids could keep developing, competing, and loving the game.
Within weeks, Okanagan Thunder was born — grounded in teamwork, opportunity, and a shared belief in giving every athlete a chance to grow.
Our Commitment
Okanagan Thunder is a not-for-profit program. Every dollar goes back into the team — ice time, equipment, jerseys, and development opportunities. We know hockey can be expensive, so keeping fees lower is core to our mission. More access. More growth. More love for the game.
