vNetCard™ Student Affiliate Program Privacy Notice

This Student Affiliate Program Privacy Notice describes how vNetCard™ LLC (“vNetCard,”

“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information about Student

Affiliates (“Student Affiliate,” “you,” or “your”) participating in the vNetCard™ Student

Affiliate Program (the “Student Program”).

This notice supplements our main Privacy Policy at vnetcard.com/privacy. In the event of

any conflict, this notice controls for student affiliate data.

1. Information We Collect from Student Affiliates

1.1 Application and Verification Data

  • Full legal name, mailing address, personal email;

  • School name, .edu email, enrollment status, expected graduation date;

  • Proof of enrollment (student ID image, enrollment verification letter, or .edu email domain match);

  • Date of birth (to confirm 18+);

  • Tax Identification Number (SSN or ITIN) via IRS Form W-9 or W-8BEN;

  • Banking or payout information.

1.2 Performance and Tracking Data

  • Affiliate link activity: clicks, IP addresses, browser and device data, referring URLs;

  • Conversion and attribution data (365-day cookie window);

  • Commission records and payout history.

1.3 Communications

  • Messages, support tickets, training participation;

  • Compliance audits and investigation records.

2. How We Use Student Affiliate Information

We use the information to:

  • Evaluate student eligibility and verify enrollment;

  • Track referred clicks, conversions, and commissions;

  • Calculate, process, and report commission payouts;

  • Issue IRS tax forms and comply with federal and state tax reporting;

  • Provide training, marketing assets, and Program support;

  • Monitor compliance with this Notice, the Student Affiliate Agreement, FTC rules, and applicable law;

  • Detect and investigate fraud, trademark misuse, and prohibited methods;

  • Communicate Program updates.

3. Enrollment Verification

We verify enrollment at initial approval and periodically thereafter. Verification data is

used solely to confirm eligibility and is not shared with third parties except as required for fraud prevention or compliance with law. We do not share enrollment status with your school.

4. Who We Share Student Affiliate Information With

We share student affiliate information only as needed:

  • Payout Processors: Stripe Connect, PayPal, GoHighLevel, or ACH processors;

  • Tax Reporting Services: for 1099-NEC, 1042-S, or equivalent filings;

  • CRM and Tracking Platforms: GoHighLevel and affiliate tracking software;

  • Professional Advisors: accountants, auditors, and legal counsel under confidentiality;

  • Legal and Regulatory Authorities: when required by law;

  • Business Transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not:

  • Sell your information;

  • Share your information with your school, faculty, financial aid office, athletic department, or conference without your explicit written consent or a valid legal demand;

  • Share enrollment verification details beyond what’s necessary to confirm Program eligibility;

  • Share your personal information with other affiliates or display it publicly without your consent.

5. Tracking of End-Customer Data

When a prospect clicks your affiliate link, we may collect limited data to attribute the sale (IP, browser, device, referring URL, click timestamp, landing page). Such data is processed per our main Privacy Policy. Only aggregated, anonymized performance data is shared with you, except as required for legitimate attribution disputes.

6. Data Retention

  • Active Participation: duration of your participation;

  • Tax and Accounting Records: seven (7) years after termination (IRS and FL requirements);

  • Performance and Tracking Data: up to three (3) years after the applicable attribution window closes;

  • Enrollment Verification Records: retained only as long as needed to demonstrate eligibility plus seven (7) years for compliance;

  • Compliance and Investigation Records: as required by law.

After retention expires, we delete or de-identify the information.

7. Security

We apply the security measures described in our main Privacy Policy. Sensitive

information (SSN, banking, enrollment documents) is encrypted in transit and stored with access restricted to authorized personnel.

8. Your Rights

You may:

  • Review and update your account and payout information through your dashboard;

  • Request a copy of or correction to your personal information by emailing [email protected];

  • Unsubscribe from Program marketing emails (operational and payout communications continue while enrolled);

  • Terminate your participation (see the Student Affiliate Agreement).

Tax records and compliance records cannot be deleted while retention obligations apply

9. International Students

If you are on a student visa, be aware that U.S. tax reporting is required for affiliate income. Your personal information may be shared with the IRS and applicable state tax authorities. International tax withholding may apply.

10. SMS Communications

If you opt in to affiliate SMS notifications, we will send messages related to Program

updates, performance, and payouts. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing

purposes.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Student Program requires participants to be at least 18 years old. If we learn a minor

has participated, we will terminate the account and delete associated information.

12. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date,” and active Student Affiliates will be notified by email.
