About Coach

Cami Thelander

Hello! My name is Cami Thelander, I’m a Grief Coach and a Craniosacral Therapy practitioner. I specialize in a mindful, body-oriented approach to healing from loss. My path into this field is deeply personal, shaped by my own experiences with grief and loss. I encountered the profound impact of grief early in life, first with the loss of my father to ALS at the age of 11, and later, the passing of my stepfather from prostate cancer when I was 15.
For a decade, I navigated through the complexities of unresolved grief, which manifested as chronic illness. This period of physical and emotional turmoil eventually led me on a path of learning to process my loss in a healthy, holistic manner. This realization marked the beginning of my exploration into various healing modalities.
In my work, I focus on empowering my clients by teaching skills for processing grief in a healthy way, while guiding them on an inward journey of connection, healing and evolution. This practical approach rooted in embodiment and awareness provides a supportive space for individuals to navigate their grief, helping them transform the pain and disorientation of loss into lives enriched with meaning and purpose. It’s an honor to be able to do this sacred and impactful work in the world as I continuously navigate my own journey through grief.

My “why”

These are pictures of me and my dad, Steve, and my stepdad, Greg. Its important to me that I include them in my story. They have taught me a lot about death, grief, and spirituality and have given me endless opportunities to explore the shadow aspects of healing through life’s traumas. Through the challenges, they have also taught me about the importance of vibrant health, nurturing meaningful relationships, and pursuing your dreams– with a deep awareness that life is short and much too precious to spend time doing anything other than what truly feels purposeful and lights you up. I think of them daily as they continue to guide me in offering this transformative work for my community, and for my own healing.
