2. Estimates, Authorization & Scope
The customer (or authorized adult decision-maker) must approve work, pricing, and any change orders before AGS proceeds.
Site access (including gates, equipment areas, and relevant valves) must be provided as needed to perform the service.
Estimates/quotes are based on information available at the time of inspection and/or customer-provided details.
3. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations
Appointment times may be provided as arrival windows.
If you need to reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible so we can accommodate.
Missed appointments or failure to provide access may result in a trip charge or rescheduling fee [insert policy if applicable].
4. Payments
Payment terms will be provided on your estimate/invoice.
Past-due balances may pause warranty support until the account is brought current (where permitted by law).
5. Property Conditions, Safety & Work Area Requirements
For safety and effectiveness, the work area must be reasonably safe and accessible.
You agree to disclose known hazards (electrical issues, unstable decking, aggressive pets, etc.).
If conditions are unsafe, AGS may pause or reschedule service until conditions are corrected.
6. Photos, Videos & Documentation
AGS may take photos/videos to document findings, repairs, and verification tests.
With your permission, media may be used for internal training, quality assurance, and customer reporting. Marketing use (public posting) will only be done with your consent.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
AGS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
AGS is not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden conditions, or damages caused by conditions outside AGS control (including prior workmanship, aging materials, or structural deterioration).
AGS’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid to AGS for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

DISCLAIMERS, POLICIES & WARRANTIES
AGS Pool Leak Specialists provide a 60-day guarantee for any leak detected and repaired in your pool or spa. If additional leaks are found after the initial 60-day period, they are not covered under this warranty and will require a separate quote for repair services.
Scope of Leak Detection Service
All inspections are performed using controlled isolation, pressure testing, dye testing, and acoustic verification when applicable. Conclusions are based on confirmed test results – not assumptions – while maintaining strict safety and quality control standards.
The leak detection service may involve multiple techniques to accurately identify the source of the leak. These techniques include:
· Visual inspection of the pool structure, including surfaces, tiles, skimmers, and fittings.
· Pressure testing of plumbing lines such as return lines, skimmer lines, and main drains.
· Dye testing of potential leak points, which may include skimmers, light fittings, and cracks.
· Inspection of pool equipment.
Water Conditions
Underwater pool leak detection inspections shall only be performed when water temperature and visibility conditions are deemed safe. Cold water exposure is a recognized occupational hazard that can increase the risk of injury and compromise inspection effectiveness.
Temperature Guidelines: diving is NOT permitted when water temperature is below 60ºF. Water temperatures between 60ºF and 65ºF may be considered only with proper thermal protection. This policy is enforced in accordance with OSHA's General Duty Clause (Section 5(a)(1)).
For safety reasons, AGS Pool Leak Specialists do not allow technicians to dive into pools with green or heavily clouded water. Green water significantly reduces visibility and creates unsafe diving conditions, which may prevent the technician from safely navigating the pool accurately identifying fittings, cracks, or other potential leak sources.
Client Responsibilities
It is the customer's responsibility to refill water and rebalance chemical levels in the pool or spa following leak detection services.
Surface Patch and Appearance Considerations
AGS Pool Leak Specialists will strive to closely match the existing pool or spa surface when applying patches. However, due to differences in product batches from manufacturers and the aging of the existing surface, an exact match in color and texture may not be possible. The only way to ensure a consistent appearance is by refinishing the entire surface. Therefore, AGS Pool Leak Specialists cannot be held liable for unavoidable color and texture variations resulting from patching.
Limitations of Epoxy Patches
Epoxy patches are not a suitable solution for major structural problems, such as significant cracks, damaged plumbing lines, leaking equipment, deteriorated surfaces, or cracked/defective skimmers. These issues require permanent repairs that conform to industry standards, and a separate estimate will be provided for such repairs if needed.
Deck Patching Policy
AGS Pool Leak Specialists do not offer staining or custom textures for decks. When applying deck patches, every effort will be made to match the existing deck as closely as possible.
Detection of Multiple Leaks
Multiple broken lines may exist in a pool or spa, but only one can be detected and repaired at a time. After repairing the first detected leak, a retest will be conducted to verify that no additional leaks exist. If another cracked spot is found, its location will be pinpointed, and a new quote will be provided for repair approval.
