FIRST RESPONSE CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING


CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that life happens and sometimes emergencies occur. If you are enrolled in a class, and a situation arises that you cannot attend, please inform us as soon as you are aware of the conflict. Out of respect for the trainers’ time we kindly request you notify us as soon as possible. We will work with you to reschedule your training. Once registration has been processed, NO REFUND will be given. Credits may be used up to 60 days from the original class date.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

• Cancellation and/or rescheduling requests must be received by email or WhatsApp at least 3 business-days prior to the date of the training. Clients are responsible for ensuring that First Response receives your request. We will reply with an email acknowledgement.

• To reschedule: In order to reschedule, you must contact us at 8765523981 during business hours (9am-5pm EST). We will not honor any rescheduling request if we do not have proof that you have attempted to contact us. If it is after business hours, please email us at [email protected] and let us know you need to reschedule to avoid fees. We are closed on all public holidays. Rescheduling requests made on those holidays will not be counted until the next business day.  

• On the day rescheduling: Students are not allowed to reschedule on the day of the course. Student who has this request will be considered as a NO SHOW. Please see NO SHOW policy below. If you contact us within business hours (8am-5 pm EST, excluding holidays), a $2000 fee will apply for all courses. Students may only reschedule once within 60 days of the original class date. We cannot reschedule you for another class unless the rescheduling fee is paid at that time.  

• Rescheduled more than once: We do not allow rescheduling more than once. We will not refund nor grant credit to any student if the student is not able to make it to the rescheduled class unless there are extreme weather conditions rendering the student unable to attend.

 

LATENESS POLICY

• Student must come to class on time. We recommend that student arrive to class ON TIME. If the student is more than 30 minutes late to class, the student is considered a NO SHOW. If the student is late for a rescheduled class, the student will also be considered as a NO SHOW. Please see below for the NO SHOW policy. If you know in advance that you will be late for your course, please reschedule within the adequate amount of time to prevent penalties. Please see the above rescheduling policy for more rescheduling details.  

NO SHOW POLICY

• Student who does not show up to class and did not notify us before the start of the class is considered a NO SHOW. We do not honor refund or credit for NO SHOW student. Reschedule fees apply.  

E-LEARNING/ONLINE (Blended) COURSES  

• NO REFUND is allowed.


• Once Blended training link is claimed it cannot be revoked or exchanged. • Exchanging from an online course to a physical in-class course is NOT PERMITTED once the online course has been started by the student. . PRIVACY POLICY At First Response CPR & First Aid Training, your privacy is very important to us. Any information you voluntarily provide to us when you make purchases and training requests (including your name, phone number, email, credit card or other banking information) is kept strictly confidential and is never sold to third parties. We use this information only to provide you the services needed to transact your purchases. (See our Privacy Policy)  

ON SITE TRAINING (At Client’s location)

First Response CPR & First Aid Training will gladly come to your location to perform an On-Site Training. We ask that you have a minimum of eight people. Once you have scheduled an On-Site Training date, we request a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost of the training to confirm the booking. You can reschedule within 5 business days of the On-Site Training. Please be advised that you can reschedule your training only once. If the On-Site Training is cancelled with less than 5 business days, your deposit will not be returned. Also be aware that group discounts are given based on the number of students originally accounted for by the client. If fewer students than expected are present for the class, First Response CPR & First Aid Training will not issue a refund for those missing students due to the nature of the discount. We can instead issue a credit for training of those students. This training credit is to be used within a 60-day period. This is transferrable to other persons within your organization if possible.   NO SHOWS No shows on the day of the training are not eligible for credit or to reschedule, except the organization has scheduled another group (at least 8 persons) training within the next 60 days.

TRAINING AT OUR RED HILLS ROAD FACILITY

Space is limited for our trainings and our classes have enrollment caps. If you need to cancel the training, it needs to be done at least 3 business-days prior to the date of the training. This way we have an opportunity to fill the vacant space. If cancelling within 3 business days of the scheduled class, all cancellations will get a training credit to be used within a 60-day period, calculated from the date of the cancelled training. No Show No-shows or cancellations the day of training are not eligible for credit or to reschedule.
