We Teach the Courses That Actually Get You Licensed

We're not a multi-state institution with a catalog of 30 programs, a call center, and an admissions team that'snever been on the water. We're a focused captain's license school based in Miami-Dade that does two things exceptionally well: OUPV and Master licensing.

Every instructor on our team has held a USCG commercial license. They've navigated the application process themselves — the sea service documentation, the TWIC card delays, the NMC submission requirements. They built this curriculum because they knew exactly what the existing options were missing: clarity.

Fewer courses. Deeper knowledge.

The captain's license industry is full of schools that sell you a course and disappear. We see our job differently. From enrollment through exam completion, we're invested in your outcome — because your pass rate is the only marketing we have.

Our curriculum is built around one objective: get you licensed on the first attempt, without wasting your time. That means no filler sessions, no recycled slide decks, no vague assurances. Every module connects to a specific USCG examination topic or a real-world skill you'll use once you're on the water with passengers aboard.

We teach the waters you'll work.

South Florida is one of the most active recreational and commercial boating regions in the world. Biscayne Bay alone sees thousands of commercial vessel movements each week. The Florida Keys bring fishing guides, dive operators, and charter captains from across the country. Miami's waterfront economy runs on licensed captains.

We teach navigation, seamanship, and meteorology with South Florida conditions in mind — the afternoon squalls, the shoaling on the flats, the bridge clearances, the no-wake zones through the channels. We don't teach generic maritime content and assume you'll figure out the local context yourself. We start with the water outside our door.

USCG Approval Statement

Both our OUPV and Master programs are approved by the U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center (NMC). Successful course completion satisfies USCG examination requirements under 46 CFR 11.201 and 11.301, allowing our students to submit their applications directly to the NMC without an additional visit to a regionalexam center.
