Styling Tips and Preparation Guide
First and foremost, choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Boudoir photography is about celebrating your beauty, and keeping outfits relatively simple often allows your natural charm to shine through. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
Lingerie bodysuits tend to be flattering for most body types.
Garter belts can be a sexy addition, with or without stockings.
Stockings don’t always photograph well, but you can certainly try them out if they make you feel great. Just be mindful that they may require extra attention during the shoot.
High heels can add a sultry touch for some shots, though in many cases, barefoot shots may look better.
Jewelry is optional, and less is often more. Choose pieces that won’t detract from your natural beauty or the focus of the images.
I recommend browsing Pinterest or online lingerie stores to get ideas and find styles or colors that speak to you.
When it comes to nails, artificial lashes, and hair extensions—go for it if that’s your style! These can enhance your look, but it all depends on the aesthetic you're aiming for and your personal preferences.
