Job Summary:

The Patient Success Coordinator (PSC) is responsible for professionally
greeting patients, maintaining patient files, and moving patients through a pre-determined schedule of appointments. Employees in this position should have an expertise in providing excellent customer service in all interactions with Modoma's patients, ensuring that all patients are scheduled out according to their care plans as well as receive all recommended services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and check in/out patients for all prescribed services accurately and with enthusiasm.

  • Responsible for collecting payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Read and respond to scheduling email messages professionally and in a timely manner.

  • Operate multi line phone system - direct calls, take messages, and relay appropriately and timely

  • Update demographics/information consistently in Mind Body and AMD.

  • Scan documents and inquire/confirm insurance coverage in AMD.

  • Complete confirmation calls and texts for next day scheduled patients.

  • Perform schedule audits the day before to ensure smooth patient flow for next day in Mind Body and AMD

  • Ensure a seamless transition between all service departments for the patient.

  • Properly follow standard opening and closing procedures for the facility.

  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness for front lobby area as needed, walking the area regularly to ensure comfort for patients and clients.

  • Perform duties as assigned by direct manager and members of management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience required

  • Minimum of 3 year front desk experience required.

  • Having a current CPR and AED certificate is preferred

  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner.

  • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Must have experience with answering and forwarding initial phone calls.

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

  • Associate and/or Bachelors Degree is preferred.
