If you purchase a new domain from us we will automatically have the access to be able to make the necessary technical changes to the domain for the DNS settings in order to point the domain to your new WordPress Website Hosting with us.
(Moderate) Buy A Brand New Domain From Somewhere Else:
If you purchase your domain from somewhere else (which is perfectly acceptable) you will be required to provide us with the login credentials to your domain registrar so we can log in to make the necessary DNS changes at your Domain Registrar Provider. You will need to provide this to us when we send you the onboarding form that we will send you after you make your purchase with us on the website hosting step. *Please make sure 2FA (2 Factor Authentication) is turned off. Delay in us getting access and being able to login to your domain registrar will delay your website setup & deployment. Many times domain registrars make it difficult for us to login as they require email or sms text pin codes to be sent to you that we need to enter in a short time window making it hard to get the required access and sometimes takes multiple attempts trying to get that access.
(Hardest) Existing Domain Purchased Somewhere Else AND Already In Use:
If you have an existing domain already in use whether that be with email hosting from somewhere or a website that you have already then we will need to get a little more information from you before we can instruct you on how to point your existing domain to us so we can be careful not to interrupt your email or website that you currently have in use. After you sign up with us we will provide you with communications and an additional form you will need to fill out so we can give you the proper instructions from there. In the form we will ask for your Domain Registrar/Nameserver Login credentials. (Note: If we can not log in to your Domain Registrar/Nameserver then you will be required to make the changes. Then, Depending on the answers we will have you make the changes at your Domain Registrar create the necessary cNames and to either point your “A” @ record to our specified IP Address OR we will provide you with the NameServers to point to us and we will then make the DNS record changes)

You will just need to provide us with the login credentials to where you purchased your domain so we can make the DNS changes. You do NOT need to transfer the domain to us. Doing so will delay the setup/deployment. You can transfer to us later once your website is fully deployed if you wish to do so.

No, however, we do provide unlimited Free Mail Forwards where you can Create free email forwards with your branded domain (if the domain was purchased from us) and it automatically redirects your branded domain email (forwarder) to an existing email you have. This is discussed further in step 2.
