FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What type of exercises will we be doing? 

Expect a mix of cardio, strength training, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises, often using your own body weight, resistance bands, boxing equipment, logs, stretchers, tyres and other equipment, you name it we do it.

What should I wear and bring to the Bootcamp? 

Wear comfortable workout clothes and trainers, bring water, a towel, and a positive attitude. Sunscreen and insect repellent may also be useful, during hotter sessions.

Is MF suitable for all fitness levels?

Our sessions are designed to be challenging but achievable, modifications and progressions are provided to accommodate participants of different fitness levels.

We have 3 different ability groups to cater for all, from absolute beginners to athletes

Blue - Beginners and new to exercise

Red - Intermediate

Green - Advanced

The main differences between the bib colours being intensity, rep ranges, recovery time, distance to run etc 

But it’s raining/snowing/windy are we still training?

 Yes, We train all year round whatever the weather, our Ex Military instructors are skilled at adapting the sessions accordingly during the ever changing conditions

How often are MF classes held? 

Please check our MF App for specific park timetables. Check out your local venue at "Where we train" above

How long is each Session? 

Classes last 60 minutes, this includes a thorough warm up and cool down

What do I do with my car keys? 

Keys are collected at the start of each session in the instructors key bag and are carried by the instructor at all times to ensure they are safe and secure.

Are there any age restrictions for participating ? 

Our minimum age is 16 unless it’s a specific family session which is suitable for all ages

Will I need to bring my own equipment? 

No, all equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Eg Bringing your own Kettlebell to a Kettlebell session 

Can I join a MF session if I have a pre-existing medical condition?

 YES, we can and do accommodate all, there’s always something that you can do, focus on what you can do as opposed to focusing on what you can’t do, It is always best to speak with your doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition

Are showers and changing facilities available?

 No, we train outdoors in parks, it’s a good idea to bring a towel and change of clothes for your journey home 

Are there any discounts available for Students, Keyworkers, Veterans etc?

 Yes, we provide a 10% discount off our Unlimited membership and also waive the joining fee on receipt of supporting documentation
