The Biggest Struggle You Will Ever Face Is With Your Own Mind

December 13, 20242 min read

The biggest struggle you will ever face is that with your own mind.

Only in the depths of your own despair will you ever know how strong you really are.

When you feel like there is no hope can you bring yourself back?

I don’t think I’ve ever explored the depths of my soul, come face to face with my own mortality or been challenged emotionally and mentally like the last 8 months.

There have been more times than I care to remember that I’ve felt like my life as I knew it was over, there was no coming back. I was doomed to this feeling of despair and panic everyday. Scared to face my life, scared to move or even breathe at times. There was an impending sense of doom that engulfed me.

Life had thrown bomb after bomb after bomb at me and I’d been shielding them as long as I could. Trying to pick up the pieces and carry on to keep moving forward as I always had. Believing in my own strength and tenacity to get me through but my body and mind said fuck you. That’s enough and literally shut me down. What had worked in the past was no longer working. No amount of working out or saying positive things to myself was going to work.

I had to go deeper, deeper than I ever knew existed, deeper than I can even comprehend. I literally had to search the depths of my soul, recreate my whole life from scratch, pull out all the emotions and beliefs that no longer served me and to start again.

I have to rebuild myself piece by piece.

In the process I have unearthed memories and things in my life that I had completely forgotten about and not thought about but had been effecting me emotionally subconsciously everyday since.

Our subconscious is like a computer for our body. It stores and remembers everything even when we don’t and it affects how we react and go into any situation. By uncovering these emotions and releasing them we can start to reprogramme ourselves. Releasing us from our fear, our anger, frustration, anxiety and other negative emotions that affect us.

The journey to freedom and happiness lies within us. It lies deep in our subconscious. When you have no choice but to drown out the noise and search within then you really do start to find your inner strength and power.

If you are feeling like there is no hope, that fear is holding you back, that you can’t carry on start the journey inside and you will discover who you really are.
