Return & Exchange Policy

Effective Date: January 10, 2026

At Mega Tyres, customer safety is our priority.

To maintain our high standards and low prices in the current economy, we enforce a strict 5-day return policy. By purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Manufacturing Defects (Technical Claims)

Returns are only accepted for verifiable manufacturing faults (e.g., sidewall bulges, bubbles, or lumps).

• The 5-Day Limit: Claims must be made within 10 days of purchase. No claims will be entertained after this window, regardless of the issue.

• Technical Sovereignty: All returns are subject to a final inspection by the Mega Tyres Technical Team. The team’s decision is final and binding.

• Exclusion of Road Hazards: Nigeria's road conditions are harsh. We do not cover damages caused by potholes, glass, nails, curb impact, or low tire pressure. If the technical team determines the damage is road-related rather than a factory defect, the claim will be rejected immediately.

2. Change of Mind" or Wrong Size Selection

If you choose the wrong size or change your mind, we may offer an exchange or refund only if:

• The tyre is unmounted and unused (Never fitted to a rim).

• All original factory labels, stickers, and wrappings are 100% intact and untampered with.

• The tyre shows no signs of being "tested" or scuffed.

• Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee may apply to cover administrative costs.

3. Absolute Liability Waiver

• Installation: Mega Tyres is not liable for any damage caused by third-party vulcanizers or installers. Damage to the tyre bead during improper mounting is the customer’s responsibility.

• Consequential Damage: Mega Tyres is not liable for any vehicle damage, loss of time, or towing costs resulting from a tyre failure. Our liability is limited strictly to the cost of the tyre purchased.

• Non-Refundable Fees: All delivery fees, logistics costs, and bank service charges are 100% non-refundable.

4. Refund Process & Timeline

• Verification: Once a return is dropped off at Progressive Block A2, Shop 011/012, please allow 3–5 working days for technical testing.

• Payment: Approved refunds are processed via Bank Transfer only. We do not issue cash refunds at the shop for security reasons.

5. Return Procedure

• Notify us immediately via 08068200125 or 08122286377.

• Bring the tyre to our location at the International Trade Fair for physical inspection.

• Provide the original receipt. Without a receipt, no return is possible.
