Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Mega Tyres, we aim to get your tyres and rims to you as efficiently as possible. However, due to the logistical realities of operating within Nigeria, our shipping policy is governed by the following terms to protect both the business and the customer.

1. Delivery Timelines are Estimates Only

All delivery times provided at checkout or via communication are estimated timelines and not guaranteed deadlines.
  • No Liability for Delays: Mega Tyres shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense (including "loss of time" or "inconvenience") resulting from delays in delivery caused by traffic, weather, vehicle breakdowns, security check-points, or third-party logistics partners.

  • Processing: While we strive to process orders promptly, delivery windows only begin after an order has been fully confirmed and payment (where applicable) has been verified.

2. Destination Selection & Customer Error

Our system requires you to select your destination from a specific list on our shipping form.
  • Cost Transparency: The cost associated with each destination is clearly stated.

  • Wrong Destination Liability: It is the customer's sole responsibility to select the correct delivery area. If you select the wrong destination and a delivery is attempted or completed to that area, Mega Tyres is not liable.

  • Forfeiture of Delivery Fees: In the event of a wrong selection, the delivery fee paid is considered used and non-refundable, as it covers the actual cost of dispatch and transport. Products will only be rerouted upon the payment of a new, separate delivery fee.

3. Failure to Select a Destination (Self-Pickup)
If you do not select a delivery destination during the checkout process, the order will default to In-Store Pickup. You are expected to collect your order at:

4. Third-Party Logistics
In many cases, Mega Tyres uses third-party delivery services. We are not responsible for the actions, delays, or omissions of these third-party providers. Once the goods leave our warehouse at the Trade Fair, the risk of delivery delay shifts to the logistics provider and the customer.

5. Failed Delivery Attempts

If our delivery team or partner reaches the designated location and the customer is unavailable to receive the goods (or cannot be reached via the provided phone numbers), the items will be returned to our warehouse. The customer will be responsible for paying an additional delivery fee for a second attempt.

6. Non-Refundable Nature of Shipping Fees

Under no circumstances are delivery fees refundable once the goods have been dispatched from our shop, regardless of whether the customer eventually decides to return the tyres under our Return Policy.
