Aetna Insurance: Under preventative services most plans will allow 10 visits, covered at 100%, for healthy diet and counseling. Additional visits may be allowed with documentation from your PCP for an overweight or obesity diagnosis.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield OF NORTH CAROLINA Insurance: Under preventative services most plans will cover our MNT services at 100%, many with no visit limit. Employer plans may cap visits.
Please note we are NOT in-network with Blue Value or Blue Home plans. 

Blue Cross/Blue Shield (OUT-OF-STATE AFFILIATES): If the plan provides for preventative services, most policies will cover our MNT services at 100% or with a copay. Benefits vary according to the state the plan is from and employer adjustments. Deductible and coinsurance could apply if services are applied towards your medical policy.

Medicare: We accept traditional Medicare as well as Aetna Medicare Advantage plans. Limited Coverage. Must have a referral from a doctor indicating diagnosis of diabetes or chronic kidney disease. Allowed (3) hours MNT the first year, (2) hours each consecutive. 

Medcost: Coverage varies depending on employer. Most Atrium Health Employees are covered 100% and allowed (6) visits per benefit period.
