MET Test By TNT Wellness

One of the most popular tests that we offer is our Metabolic Test, which we use to calculate your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR). RMR refers to the amount of calories that your body burns when you are entirely at rest. This branch of metabolism is responsible for many basic bodily functions including blood circulation, breathing, cell generation, organ function, proper neurological function, temperature regulation, and more.

While there are a few formulas your provider can use to estimate your RMR, our Korr ReeVue Machine allows us to get the most accurate measurement of your RMR through indirect calorimetry. Although predictive formulas can be useful in some cases, research has shown that even the most accurate equation we could use was still only within 10% of actual measured results, which could pose a significant hindrance to goals of weight loss or gain. This is why we prefer to test not guess! Combining the results of a Metabolic Test with our Customized Nutrition Plan sets you up for the highest rate of success.

Our metabolic test has an investment point of $175, which covers the test itself as well as the coaching session that provides an overview of metabolism and how your unique RMR relates to your goals. When working with us under the coverage of an in-network insurance plan, our Metabolic Test has an investment point of only $75.

We accept several insurance plans.

Benefits of the Metabolic Efficiency Test (MET) at TNT Wellness:

Personalized Nutrition Insights:

The MET test analyzes your unique metabolism to determine how efficiently your body burns fat and carbohydrates. This allows for the creation of a personalized nutrition plan tailored to your specific metabolic needs, optimizing energy use and weight management.

Enhanced Fat Loss:

The MET test identifies how your body responds to different macronutrients, helping you burn fat more effectively. With this information, you can make targeted dietary adjustments that support more efficient fat loss while maintaining muscle mass.

Metabolic Issues:

By assessing your body’s metabolic function, the MET test can highlight potential risks such as insulin resistance or poor fat metabolism. Early identification allows for preventative strategies, reducing the risk of future metabolic disorders like diabetes or obesity.

Improved Athletic Performance:

For athletes and active individuals, the MET test provides critical data on how your body fuels itself during exercise. By understanding your metabolic efficiency, you can adjust your diet and training to improve endurance, performance, and recovery.
