DSABV’s Social & Community Programs provide inclusive events, camps, and activities for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. These programs foster social connection, skill-building, and joy while creating a strong community in the Brazos Valley.
From family socials to Teen Nights and our annual Dream Big Gala, DSABV ensures that every member has meaningful opportunities to engage, celebrate, and thrive.

Our Social & Community Programs are designed to provide:
Inclusive community events such as family socials, holiday celebrations, and respite nights
Annual Gala – Dream Big, where members are celebrated and serve on stage
Buddy Walk 2026, celebrating awareness and inclusion (October 2026, details coming soon)
World Down Syndrome Day Picnic – March 21, 2026, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, bring your picnic lunch, drinks, and chairs (RSVP via Wild Apricot)
Teen Nights (Ages 11–18) – Held at DSABV Office; fun, dance, and life skills (RSVP via Wild Apricot)
Summer Camp, holiday parties, and ongoing social activities for connection and joy
