Bike

Requirements

All bikes must be in good working order. We strongly recommend checking brakes, all bolts and bike equipment prior to arriving. If your bike is not appropriate or in good working order, we reserve the right to refuse its use in our park.

The following bike equipment is mandatory for all riders

  1. Front and rear working disc brakes

  2. Front suspension with a minimum 130mm suspension travel

  3. Handlebar ends must be capped Hire

Safety

Equipment

The following safety equipment is mandatory for all riders

An Australian Standard approved helmet

Closed-toe shoes

Full Face Helmet when riding BLACK & DOUBLE BLACK TRAILS

The following additional safety equipment is mandatory for all riders under 18 years of age;

A jersey or shirt or elbow guards which covers the elbows

Full-length pants and / or self-fastening knee or knee / shin guards specially designed for off-road use which covers the knees

The following safety equipment is highly recommended for all riders;

Full Face Helmet

Back, chest and shoulder protection

Full finger gloves

Goggles

Full-length pants and / or self-fastening knee or knee / shin guards specially designed for off-road use which covers the knees

AGE RESTRICTIONS

All riders 16 years of age and under must have a parent or legal guardian to be present on site. Riders under 12 must be accompanied by a full paying adult, who remain with the minor for the duration of their riding in the park.

RIDER RESPONSIBILITY CODE

All users of the Boomerang Farm Bike Park are bound by the park’s rider responsibility code. Any park user not complying with the code will have their pass revoked, and may face long-term bans from the park.

  1. Stay in control. You are responsible for avoiding objects and people.

  2. Know your limits. Ride within your ability. When learning new skills or features, start small and work your way up.

  3. Protect yourself. Use appropriate bike and protective equipment.

  4. Do not ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It is your responsibility to ensure you are not riding under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

  5. Respect and maintain your equipment. Ensure your bike is in good, functional condition.

  6. Inspect trails and features. Conditions change regularly.

  7. Obey signs and warnings. Stay on marked trails only. Keep off closed trails. Ride only in the designated direction of the trail.

  8. Be visible. Do not stop in unsafe areas and look out for others.

  9. Co-operate. Notify Park staff of incidents and/or accidents.

  10. Respect our trails and the environment.

  11. Do not pollute our environment or risk starting a fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the park.

  12. Obey the directions of park staff at all times.

  13. Lack of compliance with any of the above conditions may lead to the cancellation of your uplift pass without refund..

On Arrival

On arrival, all riders must check in with our Sign in Team. The team will provide you with your wrist band for the day and can answer any questions you may have and can recommend the best trails to suit your ability.

We strongly recommend not riding alone. If you are riding alone, please advise the park staff so we can ensure you finish your riding day safely.

Cancellation

Customers may cancel their booking up to 5 days before the commencement of their booking for a full refund. Customers may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the commencement of their booking in exchange for a credit to the full amount of the booking. Cancellations within 48 hours are not permitted. Credit vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

From time to time Boomerang Farm Bike Park may be forced to shut the park due to serious events. The park will not generally close for wet weather. In the event that the park is closed prior to 8:30am, all booked parties will be notified via email and/or text message with as much advance notice as possible and will be eligible for a full refund or credit. In the event of a closure after 8:30am and before 9:30am, customers will be eligible for a refund or credit less an administration fee. In the event of a closure after 10:30am, customers will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Booking

Changes

Customers may change the date of their booking up to 48 hours before the commencement of the booking. Date changes within 48 hours are not permitted. Customers are able to make one booking change free of charge, subsequent changes to the same booking will be liable for an administration fee.

Customers may change the name on their booking up until 24 hrs before the commencement of the booking. Booking name changes within 24 hours are not permitted.

All bookings name changes must be made by emailing [email protected] or by calling 0439 090 063 during business hours.

SHUTTLES

All customers of the Boomerang Farm Bike Park shuttle service and related services agree to abide by the Park’s rider responsibility code at all times. Non-compliance with any of the park rules or regulations will render the users pass invalid. Significant breaches of the code may result in bans from the park.

All customers of the Boomerang Farm Bike Park shuttle service and related services are responsible for securing their own bike to the trailer. Boomerang Farm Bike Park takes no responsibility for damage caused to a customers bike during transportation.
