IMPORTANT: READ THIS DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY

This disclaimer is a legally required notice under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) and

forms an integral part of our Terms of Service.

By using Blueprint Forward Consulting services, you acknowledge and agree to these limitations.

❌ Success in disputes with credit bureaus or creditors

Under federal law (CROA), it is illegal for credit repair organizations to make such guarantees. Any company that guarantees specific results is violating federal law.

2. RESULTS VARY SIGNIFICANTLY

Individual results depend on numerous factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

Federal and State Laws

  • Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements

  • Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) limitations

  • State-specific credit reporting laws

  • Changes in federal or state regulations

  • Court interpretations of consumer protection laws

  • Whether creditors respond to bureau inquiries

Your Participation

  • Timeliness and completeness of information you provide

  • Your response to our requests for documentation

  • Your follow-through on recommended strategies

  • Your credit behavior during the repair process (new accounts, inquiries, etc.)

3. WHAT WE CAN AND CANNOT DO

✅ What We CAN Do:

  • Analyze your credit reports for inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information

  • Identify potential violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

  • Prepare professional dispute letters challenging questionable items

  • Submit disputes to credit bureaus on your behalf

  • Communicate with creditors and collection agencies regarding your accounts

  • Monitor credit bureau responses and follow up on disputes

  • Provide strategic guidance on building positive credit

  • Educate you on your rights under federal consumer protection laws

  • Recommend actions to improve your creditworthiness over time

❌ What We CANNOT Do:

  • Remove accurate, timely, and verifiable information (this is illegal and unethical)

  • Guarantee that inaccurate information will be deleted

  • Control how credit bureaus investigate your disputes

  • Force creditors to update or delete information

  • Approve you for credit, loans, or funding (lenders make these decisions)

  • Change credit scoring formulas or lending criteria

  • Predict exactly how your credit score will change

  • Guarantee timeframes for results

  • Make credit decisions on behalf of lenders

  • Fabricate identity theft claims or false disputes

4. SERVICE-SPECIFIC DISCLAIMERS

Credit Repair Services

We DO NOT guarantee:

  • Deletion of collections, charge-offs, late payments, or bankruptcies

  • Increase in credit scores

  • Approval for credit cards, auto loans, or mortgages

  • Specific number of items deleted

  • Timeframe for deletions or score improvements

Accurate information cannot be removed. If a negative item on your credit report is accurate, timely, and verifiable, it cannot legally be deleted—regardless of which credit repair company you use.

Business Credit & Funding Services

We DO NOT guarantee:

  • Approval for business loans, SBA loans, or lines of credit

  • Specific funding amounts

  • Particular interest rates or lending terms

  • Success in funding applications

Final lending decisions are made by banks and lenders based on their own underwriting criteria, which may include:

  • Personal and business credit scores

  • Revenue and profitability

  • Time in business

  • Debt-to-income ratios

  • Industry type and risk

  • Collateral availability

  • Cash flow and financial statements

We provide preparation and positioning services only. We do not make lending decisions or control lender underwriting.

Identity Theft Recovery

We DO NOT guarantee:

  • Deletion of all fraudulent accounts

  • Complete restoration of credit after identity theft

  • Specific timeframe for fraud resolution

  • Acceptance of §605B blocking requests by credit bureaus

Identity theft recovery depends on:

  • Quality and completeness of your documentation (FTC reports, police reports)

  • Credit bureau acceptance of fraud claims

  • Creditor willingness to acknowledge fraud

  • Complexity of the identity theft situation

  • Time since fraud occurred

Student Loan Services

We DO NOT guarantee:

  • Loan discharge or forgiveness approval

  • Reduction in loan balances

  • Changes to interest rates or payment amounts

  • Success in discharge applications

Final decisions on loan discharge and forgiveness are made by:

  • The U.S. Department of Education

  • Federal Student Aid offices

  • Loan servicers

  • Courts (in bankruptcy discharge cases)

We provide consulting and navigation support only.

Real Estate Credit Strategy

We DO NOT guarantee:

  • Mortgage approval

  • Specific interest rates

  • Loan-to-value ratios

  • Approval amounts

  • Timeframe for mortgage readiness

Mortgage approval depends on:

  • Credit scores (often minimum 620-640 for conventional loans)

  • Debt-to-income ratios

  • Employment history and income verification

  • Down payment amount

  • Property appraisal

  • Lender underwriting guidelines

Tradeline Services

We DO NOT guarantee:

  • Credit score increases from authorized user tradelines

  • Approval for credit after adding tradelines

  • Lender acceptance of tradelines

  • Specific point increases in credit scores

Tradeline results vary because:

  • Different credit bureaus may report tradelines differently

  • Credit scoring models (FICO, VantageScore) weigh tradelines differently

  • Some lenders disregard or discount authorized user accounts

  • Your overall credit profile impacts how tradelines affect your score

  • Tradelines are not loans or credit extensions—they are reporting strategies only

5. PAST RESULTS ARE NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS

Any examples, case studies, testimonials, or references to past client results DO NOT guarantee that you will achieve similar results.

Credit repair outcomes are highly individualized and depend on:

  • The specific items on YOUR credit reports

  • The accuracy or inaccuracy of those items

  • How credit bureaus and creditors respond to YOUR disputes

  • YOUR credit behavior during and after our service period

Two clients with seemingly similar credit profiles may achieve completely different results.

6. CREDIT BUREAU INVESTIGATION PROCESS

When we submit disputes on your behalf, credit bureaus are required by law to investigate within 30-45 days. However:

Credit bureaus may:

  • Verify the disputed information as accurate (no deletion)

  • Request additional information or documentation

  • Determine that your dispute is frivolous or irrelevant

  • Update the item instead of deleting it

  • Delete the item temporarily but reinsert it later if creditor re-verifies

We cannot control:

  • How thoroughly credit bureaus investigate

  • Whether creditors respond to bureau inquiries

  • Whether bureaus find information accurate or inaccurate

  • Bureau business practices or procedures

7. ACCURATE INFORMATION CANNOT BE REMOVED

It is illegal and unethical to attempt to remove accurate, timely, and verifiable information from credit reports.

Blueprint Forward Consulting complies with CROA:

If a negative item on your credit report is:

✅ Accurate (true and correct)

✅ Timely (within the reporting period, usually 7-10 years)

✅ Verifiable (creditor can substantiate it)

Then it cannot legally be deleted, regardless of:

  • Which credit repair company you hire

  • How much you pay

  • What disputes are filed

  • What strategies are used

Any company that promises to remove accurate negative items is:

  • Violating federal law (CROA)

  • Engaging in fraudulent practices

  • Putting you at legal risk

8. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Results also depend significantly on YOUR actions during and after our service period:

During Service

You must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Respond promptly to requests for documentation

  • Follow recommended credit-building strategies

  • Avoid new negative items (late payments, collections, etc.)

  • Avoid excessive new credit inquiries

  • Maintain existing accounts in good standing

After Service

To maintain results:

  • Continue making all payments on time

  • Keep credit card balances low (under 30% of limits)

  • Avoid closing old accounts (reduces credit history length)

  • Monitor credit reports regularly for errors or fraud

  • Avoid applying for unnecessary credit

  • Address new issues promptly

If you do not maintain good credit habits, your credit score may decline even after successful dispute outcomes.

9. TIMEFRAMES ARE ESTIMATES ONLY

We cannot guarantee specific timeframes for:

  • Credit score improvements

  • Deletion of negative items

  • Completion of disputes

  • Funding approval

  • Any other outcome

Typical timelines:

  • Credit bureau investigations: 30-45 days per dispute round

  • Credit score changes: May occur immediately or take months

  • Overall credit repair: 3-12 months (varies widely)

  • Business funding preparation: 6-18 months (varies widely)

Your results may be faster or slower based on individual circumstances.

10. NO GUARANTEE OF LENDER APPROVAL

Even if we successfully help improve your credit reports and scores:

Lenders may still deny your applications based on:

  • Their own underwriting criteria

  • Debt-to-income ratios

  • Employment history or income verification

  • Property appraisals (for mortgages)

  • Industry risk (for business loans)

  • Recent credit activity

  • Internal lending policies

  • Economic conditions

We do not make credit or lending decisions. Lenders make these decisions independently.

11. EXTERNAL FACTORS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

Results may be affected by factors outside our control, including:

  • Changes in federal or state credit reporting laws

  • Changes in credit scoring formulas (FICO, VantageScore)

  • Changes in lender underwriting standards

  • Economic recessions or financial crises

  • Credit bureau policy changes

  • Data furnisher business practices

  • Court rulings affecting consumer credit rights

  • Identity theft or fraud (even after remediation)

  • Creditor bankruptcies or business closures

12. REFUND POLICY

Our refund policy is governed by:

  • The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)

  • Our Terms of Service

  • State consumer protection laws

See our separate Refund Policy page for complete details.

General refund principles:

  • You may cancel within 3 business days for a full refund (CROA requirement)

  • Refunds apply only to unperformed services

  • Completed work is non-refundable

  • Monthly services are billed after work is performed

We do NOT offer "money-back guarantees" based on results, as results cannot be guaranteed under federal law.
