For healthy dogs who plan to stay that way

Because good health isn’t luck – it’s a lifestyle

Our Whole Dog Wellness™ experience uses functional medicine, real-food nutrition, and early detection to fine-tune your dog’s health from the inside out – before problems ever begin.

WHAT IS whole dog wellness™?

Wellness isn’t what you do after something’s wrong – it’s what keeps everything right

Most veterinary care waits for problems to appear. Dr. Pam's Whole Dog Wellness™ prevents them from ever taking root.

Designed for dogs two years and older, it’s a data-driven, intuition-guided experience that reveals what’s working beautifully in your dog’s body – and what might need a little extra support.

It’s where functional medicine meets real-world living, giving you a clear, personalized strategy for sustaining wellness all year long.

Here’s how it works:

THE WELLNESS EVALUATION

Your dog’s in-depth health discovery

We start with an in-clinic evaluation that goes far beyond a standard wellness exam. Dr. Pam reviews your dog’s full history, diet, lifestyle, and temperament and collects functional lab work that uncovers subtle imbalances before they become problems.

This is where we gather the information needed to build your dog’s personalized wellness blueprint – their roadmap to energy, balance, and longevity.

YOUR PERSONALIZED WELLNESS PLAN

Your personalized blueprint for ongoing health and longevity

Based on the lab findings and in-clinic assessment, Dr. Pam designs a plan tailored to your dog’s unique physiology and daily life. You’ll receive a written strategy outlining nutrition, supplements, detox and immune support, and environmental adjustments that create true vitality – not just the absence of illness.

Why We Use Care Plans

Holistic care isn’t a one-and-done kind of thing...

Your pet’s body needs time, consistency, and the right support to actually heal.

That’s why we work in Care Plans rather than single visits. It gives us the structure to track progress, make thoughtful adjustments, and stay connected with you so your pet gets the best possible results.

Our plans also include the communication, the follow-ups, and all the behind-the-scenes attention that most pets need to truly improve.

When we work this way, we see better outcomes, happier pets, and far less guesswork for you.

Please note that Care Plans are paid in full at the time of enrollment and are non-refundable.

This protects the time and clinical resources we reserve for your pet and makes sure we stay fully committed to their care from start to finish.

Most importantly, it helps create the consistency your pet’s healing depends on.

BECAUSE LIFE HAPPENS

What happens if the lab results

show something concerning?

Occasionally, functional testing reveals areas that need closer attention – even in dogs who appear perfectly healthy. If this happens, Dr. Pam will explain what the results mean and map out a clear, compassionate plan for next steps. Some dogs stay on annual wellness maintenance; others move into a different care plan for focused healing. Either way, you’ll always know exactly where you stand and what to do next.

Frequently asked questions

Wellness comes with questions – and we love that. Here are simple, clear answers to help you understand how Whole Dog Wellness™ keeps your dog strong, balanced, and thriving.

How do I know if Whole Dog Wellness is right for my dog?

Our Whole Dog Wellness™ experience is designed for dogs two years and older who seem healthy but deserve a deeper, more proactive approach than a standard annual exam. If you want clarity, guidance, and a long-term strategy for keeping your dog vibrant, this is your path.

How does this work with my regular veterinarian?

Dr. Pam works alongside your primary vet, not instead of them. Your regular vet handles acute issues, vaccines, and urgent needs. Dr. Pam focuses on the whole-body, long-term health picture – functional labs, prevention, nutrition, and optimizing vitality.

What makes this different from a traditional wellness exam?

Traditional wellness exams look for disease. Whole Dog Wellness looks for unseen imbalances long before they turn into symptoms. It’s more comprehensive, more personalized, and backed by functional medicine insights that go far deeper than standard ranges.

What happens if the functional lab work uncovers an issue?

Occasionally, functional testing reveals areas that need closer attention – even in dogs who appear perfectly healthy. If this happens, Dr. Pam will explain what the results mean and map out a clear, compassionate plan for next steps. Some dogs stay on annual wellness maintenance; others move into a different care plan for focused healing. Either way, you’ll always know exactly where you stand and what to do next.

Do I have to feed raw or homemade to participate?

Not at all. Dr. Pam works with whole food feeding styles and helps you improve your dog’s nutrition from wherever you’re starting. No judgment – just smart, functional guidance.

How long does the plan last?

Our Whole Dog Wellness™ experience is structured as a 12-month partnership, giving you seasonal guidance, continuity of care, and ongoing support as your dog’s needs shift throughout the year.

Can multiple dogs share one plan?

Because every dog’s lab work, history, and physiology are unique, the plan is specific to one dog only. You’re welcome to enroll multiple dogs – many clients do!

Do I have to live in the Dallas area to participate?

No, but you'll need to travel to Dallas for in-person appointments throughout the year. Per Texas veterinary law, all physical exams and lab work must be completed in person.

Dr. Pam's hands-on modalities require in-person evaluation for accurate assessment and treatment. She can provide guidance and coaching over the phone, but cannot diagnose or prescribe treatment for conditions she hasn't personally examined.

You may need to work with a local veterinarian for diagnostics or urgent issues that develop.

What happens after the first year?

You can renew your plan annually to keep your dog’s wellness strategy up-to-date, or move into a different tier of care if their needs change. Many clients stay in Whole Dog Wellness™ year after year because they love the clarity and consistency.

What if I miss or need to reschedule a Telehealth call?

Life happens. Just follow our standard scheduling and cancellation policies, and we’ll help you reschedule. Flex Calls can also be used if something comes up unexpectedly.

Do you use natural remedies instead of traditional medicine?

Dr. Pam blends functional medicine, nutrition, supplements, and intuitive insight with conventional veterinary knowledge. It isn’t “natural vs. traditional” – it’s the right tool at the right time for your individual dog.

What if my dog is showing symptoms now?

If your dog is experiencing ongoing issues, chronic conditions, or symptoms that need deeper investigation, you may be a better fit for our Beyond the Diagnosis™ plan. We can help you find the right path. Call us at 214.991.2240 so we can help point in you in the right direction.

Do you write prescriptions for pharmaceuticals?

We don't prescribe traditional pharmaceuticals. Our prescriptions are limited to select functional medicine medications – such as fenbendazole and ivermectin – that align with our holistic protocols.

Heartworm prevention prescriptions (sent to Chewy) are available for patients enrolled in our wellness programs who have completed heartworm DNA testing. Cancer protocol prescriptions are filled through a compounding pharmacy.

Why are Care Plans non-refundable?

Our plans reserve time, clinical attention, and ongoing support for your pet throughout the duration of their care. Because holistic medicine works best with consistency and follow-through, Care Plans keep us fully aligned and engaged in your pet’s progress.

We’ve found pets make the biggest improvements when their parents commit to the full process, which is why plans are paid in full and non-refundable.
