VIrTUAL VIBES, REAL IMPACT
Socially Empowered VA was born from two simple but powerful beliefs: that great support changes everything, and that business can be a force for good.
Co-founded by Candice and Rocinie, SEVA grew out of lived experience on both sides of the support relationship. Together, they saw the same gap again and again: impact driven founders drowning in the day-to-day, unable to focus on the work only they can do. SEVA was built to close that gap, not just with capable hands, but with values-aligned support that actually fits the way mission-led businesses operate.

SEVA is built on collaboration between founders, VAs, and communities. Our NGO partnerships are a direct expression of this goal.
Candice is a social entrepreneur and dedicated volunteer originally from Zimbabwe, shaped by a strong belief that opportunity can transform lives. This perspective has guided her work across community initiatives, governance, and impact-driven projects.
She currently sits on 2 boards, contributing strategic insight and leadership across a diverse range of organisations. Alongside her governance roles, Candice leads a busy and purpose driven life, balancing multiple responsibilities while continuing to champion growth, sustainability, and meaningful impact.
As the co founder she is creating the structure needed to scale impact, streamline operations, and provide high quality support that allows leaders to focus on growth while maintaining clarity, balance, and effectiveness across their commitments.
Rocinie did not start as a business owner. She began her career by supporting other people’s dreams.
With a background in corporate insurance and a degree in Business Management, she eventually made the leap into freelancing, driven by a desire to help small businesses grow. What started with one client quickly evolved into a career working alongside business coaches, entrepreneurs, and small business owners across systems, administration, website management, social media, course creation, podcast editing, and retreat management.
Every business she supported opened her eyes to what was possible. Over time, one quiet question became impossible to ignore: What if she built something of her own?
That question became the foundation of Socially Empowered VA, a business created not only to support clients, but to help them reclaim their time and amplify their mission through smart, soulful support.
