Dr. Carly Martin is a naturopathic doctor specializing in women's health, hormone balance, and digestive wellness. She brings a thoughtful, whole-person approach to care rooted in genuine curiosity about why the body is struggling, not just what to do about it. Whether you're navigating hormonal shifts, dealing with stubborn skin issues, trying to make sense of confusing lab results, or simply feeling like something is off, Dr. Carly meets you where you are.
Approach
Dr. Carly believes that real, lasting health comes from understanding your body, not just managing symptoms. She approaches each patient like a puzzle, piecing together clues from across the whole system: hormones, gut, nervous system, skin, and beyond. She takes time to listen, ask the right questions, and build care plans that are personalized, realistic, and grounded in evidence. Her toolkit includes functional lab interpretation, botanical medicine, nutraceuticals, lifestyle therapy, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), woven together in a way that makes sense for your life.
She's known for translating complex medicine into plain language, so you leave each appointment feeling informed and in control, not overwhelmed.
Training & Background
Dr. Carly's path to integrative medicine was shaped by both personal and professional experience. After completing her B.S. in Psychobiology at UCLA (with a minor in Evolutionary Biology), she conducted clinical research at both UCLA and Oregon Health & Science University, including work published in Diabetes Metabolism Research and Review.
She went on to earn her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, with advanced training in endocrinology, fertility, women's reproductive health, and gastrointestinal conditions. Following her doctorate, she completed a two-year residency with a focus on women's health, hormone replacement therapy, and gastroenterology, deepening her clinical expertise before joining Origins Integrative Health.
She is also a faculty member at the University of Western States, where she develops and teaches a graduate-level Reproductive Health course for naturopathic medical students, a role that keeps her deeply engaged with current research and clinical best practices.
Dr. Carly is board certified and licensed in Oregon.

Neural Therapy

I came to naturopathic medicine through my own experience with chronic illness, and that journey gave me a deep appreciation for how disorienting it can feel when your body isn't cooperating and answers are hard to find. I want to be the kind of doctor I wished I'd had: someone who listens carefully, explains things clearly, and works with you as a real partner in your health.
