Yes! We accept several major insurance plans, including MODA, PacificSource, BCBS, Providence, Aetna, United Health Care, and Kaiser. However, not every practitioner is covered by each insurance company, and coverage can vary depending on your specific plan and the services you receive.
Our administrative team is happy to help you verify whether your provider is in-network and whether your plan covers the services you're interested in. We recommend reaching out before your first visit so there are no surprises.
Yes, we do. If you've been injured in a motor vehicle accident and are seeking care, please let our administrative team know when you call to schedule. Have your claim number accessible — that information helps us coordinate your care and billing from the start.
Yes. We offer cash-pay discounts for many of our services. If you are uninsured, underinsured, or simply prefer to pay out of pocket, please ask our team about current rates. We believe access to quality integrative care should be as barrier-free as possible.
Yes. Many of our office visits and services are eligible for payment through Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). We recommend confirming with your plan administrator which specific services qualify, as eligibility can vary. Our team can provide itemized receipts and documentation to support your submission.
Your new patient visit is designed to give us a complete picture of your health — not just your current symptoms, but your history, your goals, and what matters most to you. Plan for a thorough, unhurried conversation. Your provider will review your intake forms, discuss your health concerns in depth, and begin building an individualized care plan. Depending on your situation, we may also recommend lab work or other diagnostic testing to help guide your treatment.
First visits are typically 60 to 90 minutes. We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork.
To make the most of your first visit, we ask that you:
- Complete your new patient intake forms before your appointment
- Along with a detailed list of any current medications, supplements, and dosages
- Bring any recent lab work or relevant medical records if available
- Come prepared to share your health history, goals, and any questions you have
The more we know going in, the more we can accomplish together.
We ask that you provide at least 24 business hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If our clinic is closed over the weekend, please plan to cancel by Friday — a Monday morning call doesn't give us enough time to offer that spot to another patient in need.
We understand that life happens, and we'll always do our best to work with you. That said, late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee. The sooner you let us know, the better we can accommodate everyone.
Yes. We offer telehealth visits for many of our services — a convenient option for new patient consultations and follow-up care from the comfort of your home.
Please note that not all insurance plans cover telemedicine services. Providence and ASH, for example, do not currently cover virtual visits. Our administrative team is happy to confirm your coverage before you schedule, so there are no surprises on your end.
Our practitioners each bring their own areas of passion and expertise — from hormone optimization and functional medicine to acupuncture, chiropractic, and regenerative therapies. A great place to start is reading through their bios on our website to get a feel for who might be the right fit for you.
Still not sure? Our administrative team knows our practitioners well and loves helping new patients find their match. Just give us a call — we're happy to talk it through.
That depends on your health goals, the complexity of your care, and the services you're receiving. Some patients begin with weekly or monthly visits as part of an active treatment plan, then transition to check-ins every six weeks, seasonally, or simply as needed once things are moving in the right direction.
Your provider will map out a visit schedule with you at your first appointment — and like everything else at Origins, that plan will evolve as you do.
