About Dr. Heather

Dr. Heather Krebsbach is a functional medicine naturopathic doctor and licensed acupuncturist with nearly two decades of experience supporting patients through every stage of life. She specializes in hormone and thyroid health, digestive wellness, fertility, autoimmune conditions, and adjunctive cancer care and complex chronic conditions — bringing a systems-based, whole-person perspective to every patient relationship.

Dr. Krebsbach's passion for medicine was ignited during a formative six-month sabbatical in India, where she immersed herself in Eastern healing traditions and developed a deep appreciation for treating the whole person — not just the condition. That experience shaped everything that followed: a career built around curiosity, root-cause thinking, and the belief that lasting health requires understanding the full picture of who you are.

Whether you're navigating hormonal shifts, managing a complex chronic condition, supporting your body through cancer care, or simply trying to understand why you don't feel like yourself — Dr. Heather meets you where you are and builds care around your whole story.

Approach

Dr. Heather approaches every patient relationship with genuine curiosity and a deep respect for the complexity of the human body. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, she looks at the full picture — hormones, digestion, the nervous system, immune function, and the spaces in between — to understand not just what is happening, but what is driving it.

Her care is integrative by design and collaborative by nature. Working alongside your existing healthcare team, she draws from nutraceuticals, lifestyle therapy, acupuncture, regenerative injections, and prescription treatments — including hormone replacement therapy (HRT) — to build care plans that are as individual as you are. Evidence-informed and thoughtfully personalized, her approach is always tailored to where you are right now and where you want to go.

What sets Dr. Heather apart is her ability to take even the most complex combination of conditions and symptoms and distill them into a clear, personalized, and actionable path forward — one that makes sense, feels achievable, and is built entirely around you.

Training & Background

Dr. Krebsbach earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, where she also completed a Master's Degree in Acupuncture — dual degrees that reflect her commitment to integrating Eastern and Western healing traditions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota–Minneapolis.

She has trained closely with leading physicians in women's health, oncology, endocrinology, and HIV care. Following her doctorate, she completed a two-year residency focused on integrative cancer care — deepening her clinical expertise in one of the most complex areas of integrative medicine.

Her role as an educator, investigator, and lifelong learner keeps her at the forefront of current research and clinical best practices.

She is nationally board certified and licensed in Oregon.

Regenerative & Aesthetic Treatments

Dr. Heather offers a comprehensive menu of regenerative therapies — each grounded in clinical science and designed to support healing at the cellular, structural, and systemic level.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

PRP harnesses your body's own healing factors to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration. Dr. Heather offers:

  • PRP Scalp — an evidence-informed treatment for women and men experiencing hair thinning or alopecia, using targeted injections to support follicle health and encourage natural regrowth.

  • PRP Facial Injections — precision injections to improve skin texture, tone, and luminosity by stimulating collagen production and cellular renewal.

  • PRP Microdermabrasion — PRP delivered in combination with microdermabrasion to enhance absorption, brighten the complexion, and support deeper skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime.

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy uses a dextrose solution injected into weakened or injured connective tissue to stimulate the body's natural repair response. Dr. Heather uses prolotherapy to:

  • Tendons and Ligaments — Support structural repair of chronic tendon and ligament injuries that have not responded to conventional treatment, restoring stability and reducing pain over time

Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT)

A non-surgical injection therapy targeting inflamed or damaged nerves to reduce pain and support healing. Using a dextrose solution injected near affected nerves, PIT promotes a natural healing response that improves nerve function and provides lasting, sustainable relief.

  • Nerve pain and neuropathy — Targeted treatment for peripheral nerve pain, chronic sensitivity, and nerve-related conditions

Neural Therapy

Neural therapy uses precise injections of procaine — a short-acting local anesthetic — to reset disrupted signals in the autonomic nervous system. Long practiced in Europe, it is a well-established integrative treatment gaining recognition in North America. Dr. Heather uses neural therapy to address:

  • Scar treatment — scars and scar tissue can restrict movement, alter sensation, and interfere with the body's neurological communication; procaine injections work directly on scar tissue to restore appropriate function and flow, including pelvic pain related to scar tissue.

  • Nervous system dysregulation — supporting a reset of chronic autonomic patterns that contribute to fatigue, pain sensitivity, and poor recovery.

  • Chronic infections, inflammation, and pain — neural therapy works through its anti-inflammatory response to promote resolution of long-standing conditions that have been difficult to clear.

Shockwave Therapy

A non-invasive treatment using acoustic sound waves to stimulate healing in chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Heather uses shockwave therapy for:

  • Tendons and ligaments — breaking down calcifications, stimulating collagen production, and accelerating tissue repair in chronic tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, and ligament injuries.
