As the daughter of immigrants, my path to becoming a therapist was deeply influenced by cultural expectations and the silent stigma surrounding mental health in my community. This personal experience ignited my passion for supporting those grappling with the intersections of cultural identity and mental wellness. Additionally, being bilingual in Spanish, I am dedicated to providing a culturally sensitive and inclusive space for clients who may prefer to communicate in their native language.
My professional experiences have been diverse, ranging from providing therapy in community mental health settings to advocating for survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. These roles have deeply informed my approach to therapy, emphasizing empathy, resilience, and the human capacity for growth.
Graduated Pepperdine University with MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
